Need custom tees? Fast. Really fast. Whether you are hosting an event in Redcliffe, launching a startup in North Lakes, or need team gear in Caboolture, timing is everything. At So Boss, we specialise in getting your designs off the screen and onto a premium garment before the sun sets.
Same-day despatch is our superpower, but there are rules to the game. If you are in the Moreton Bay region and need a quick turnaround, you need to know how the process works to ensure your order lands on your doorstep without a hitch.
Here are the 10 essential things you need to know about same-day despatch for custom t-shirt printing.
1. Despatch is Not Delivery (The 48-Hour Rule)
Do you need your shirts in your hands right this second? We understand the urgency. However, it is vital to distinguish between "same-day despatch" and "same-day delivery."
When you place a same-day order with us, it means your shirts are printed, packed, and handed over to our courier partners on that very same business day. For most metro areas: including the major hubs in Moreton Bay: delivery typically occurs within 48 hours.
(Note: This assumes there are no major postal disruptions or extreme weather events affecting the logistics network).
Plan. Order. Receive. It is that simple, but always allow that 48-hour window for the courier to do their magic.
2. The 11:00 AM Cut-Off is Absolute
Time waits for no one. Especially not in the printing world. To qualify for same-day print and despatch, your order must be placed and paid for before our 11:00 am cut-off time.
Why so early? Because quality takes time, even when we are moving fast. We need to prep your artwork, calibrate the machines, and ensure the ink cures perfectly before the courier trucks arrive for the afternoon pickup.
Missed the cut-off? Don't panic. Your order will be prioritised for the very next business day.
Pro Tip: Have your credit card and your final design ready to go by 10:45 am to beat the rush.

3. DTG is the King of Speed
Not all printing methods are created equal. If you want same-day despatch, DTG (Direct to Garment) is your only option.
We use high-end DTG technology to spray your design directly onto the fabric. It is essentially like a giant, high-tech inkjet printer for clothes. It allows for unlimited colours, intricate details, and: most importantly: zero setup time.
What about other methods?
DTF (Direct to Film): We offer it, but it is not available for same-day despatch.
Screen Printing: Great for massive runs, but it involves making physical screens. This is never a same-day service.
Stick to custom tees using DTG if you are in a hurry.
4. No Customer Pick-Up for Same-Day Online Orders
This is a big one for our local Moreton Bay legends. If you order through our online store for same-day despatch, there is strictly no customer pick-up available.
Our workflow for same-day orders is automated and geared toward immediate courier handover. We don't have a retail counter for online orders, as our team is focused entirely on hitting those despatch deadlines.
If you absolutely must pick up your items, see point number 10 for the "offline" loophole. Otherwise, sit back and let the delivery driver bring the goods to you.
5. Limit Your Garment Choices for Maximum Speed
When you are in a rush, simplicity wins. Our same-day service focuses on our most popular, high-quality blanks.
We primarily use premium cotton tees from brands like AS Colour because they are reliable and provide a perfect canvas for DTG printing. While we have a huge range of hoodies and caps, not every single colour or size in the warehouse is eligible for the same-day sprint.
Check the product page carefully. If it is in stock and marked for same-day, you are good to go.

6. Your Artwork Needs to be "Print-Ready"
We move fast, which means we don't have time to fix blurry logos or remove messy backgrounds on same-day orders. To ensure your shirt looks professional, follow these three rules:
Transparency: Use a PNG file with a transparent background. (Unless you want a big white box around your logo!)
Resolution: Aim for 300 DPI. If it looks pixelated on your screen, it will look pixelated on your shirt.
Format: PNG or Vector (PDF/AI/EPS) is best.
If our team has to email you back and forth to fix your file, your "same-day" status will slip to "whenever the art is ready" status. Prepare. Check. Upload.
7. Use the Online Designer for Instant Previews
Don't guess what your shirt will look like. Our online design tool allows you to upload your art, move it around, and see exactly how it sits on the chest or back of the garment.
Because same-day orders are processed almost instantly, we do not send out manual digital proofs for approval. What you see in the online designer is exactly what our printers will produce.
Check your spelling. Double-check it. Then check it again. We print exactly what you submit!
8. Bulk Orders Are Welcome (But Be Realistic)
Are you looking to kit out an entire crew in Morayfield? We can handle it. You can order bulk quantities directly through our website.
However, "bulk" and "same-day" can sometimes clash if the volume is massive (think hundreds of shirts). If you have a large order, the best move is to get it in as early as possible.
For high-volume needs that don't fit the "instant" online checkout, you can view our high-volume order fulfillment portfolio to see what we are capable of.

9. We Cover the Entire Moreton Bay Region
Whether you are based in the industrial heart of Caboolture or the coastal strips of Deception Bay, So Boss has you covered. We regularly ship to:
Redcliffe & Scarborough
North Lakes & Mango Hill
Caboolture & Morayfield
Strathpine & Brendale
Bribie Island
Our logistics network is optimised for the 4500-4510 postcodes, ensuring that once your order is despatched, it takes the fastest possible route to your door.

10. The Offline Email Option (For When You Need a Human)
Sometimes, you need a more personalised experience. Maybe you have a complex request, or you specifically want to pick up your order.
You can place orders via email directly through our site. This is great for:
Custom quotes for unique merchandise.
Specific branding requirements.
Bulk orders that require a human touch.
The Catch: Offline email orders have a slower turnaround time. You won't get same-day despatch here.
The Perk: Offline email orders allow for customer pick-up! If you are in the Moreton Bay area, you can collect your finished gear from our Griffin (QLD) location once it is ready. (We also have a Leumeah, NSW location for our southern friends).
