Looking for Same Day Printing in Brisbane? 10 Things You Should Know About the 10am Cut-off

Do you need custom shirts for an event tomorrow?
Maybe you’ve got a last-minute pop-up shop in Fortitude Valley.
Or perhaps your team uniforms just didn’t show up from another supplier.
We get it. Emergencies happen.
In the world of custom apparel, "fast" usually means a week.
But at So Boss, we do things differently for our Brisbane locals.
We offer same-day printing and dispatch to get you out of a jam.
However, there is one rule that rules them all: The 10am Cut-off.
If you want your gear printed and out the door today, you need to know how this works.
Here are 10 things you need to know about hitting that deadline and getting your merch fast.
1. 10am is the "Point of No Return"
Why 10am?
It’s not just a random number we picked out of a hat.
To ensure your order is printed, cured, packed, and handed over to our couriers by the afternoon, the machines need to start humming early.
Think of 10am as the gate closing at the airport.
If you are at the gate at 10:01am, the plane is already taxiing down the runway.
We want to help everyone, but our production schedule is a finely tuned machine.
Once that clock strikes ten, we lock in the day's "Express" queue.
Plan. Order. Win.
2. It’s a DTG Exclusive (Direct to Garment)
Not all printing methods are created equal when it comes to speed.
If you want same-day print and dispatch, you are looking at DTG (Direct to Garment) printing.
DTG is like a giant inkjet printer for shirts.
It’s fast, it’s vibrant, and it requires almost zero setup time compared to traditional methods.
We can take your digital file and put it straight onto a tee.
(Note: While we love DTF for its durability and versatility across our full range, it doesn’t fall under the same-day dispatch guarantee).
Similarly, screen printing requires burning stencils and long drying times, definitely not a same-day service.
Stick to DTG for the win.

3. The "Double Green Light" Rule
To hit the 10am cut-off, we need two things from you.
First, we need your payment.
Second, we need your print-ready artwork.
If you place an order at 9:30am but don't upload the art until 11:00am, that order is moving to tomorrow’s queue.
We can’t start the car without the keys.
Make sure you have your file ready to go before you even hit the checkout.
Check. Pay. Print.
4. "Print-Ready" Means No Edits
When we talk about "same-day," there is no time for back-and-forth emails.
We don't have a window to fix typos or remove backgrounds for you.
Your artwork needs to be high-resolution (300 DPI is the sweet spot).
It needs to be a PNG with a transparent background.
If you send us a blurry JPEG with a white box around it, we can't make it look "So Boss" in an hour.
We want you to look good, so give us the best file you’ve got.
(Pro tip: If you aren't sure about your file, reach out the day before you need the same-day service).

(Suggested Prompt: A close-up, high-quality digital workspace showing a professional PNG artwork file with a transparent background, ready for t-shirt printing, clean and sharp.)
5. Same-Day Print AND Dispatch
This is the big one Paolo wanted to make sure you understood.
When we say same-day, we mean we print it AND we get it into the hands of the courier.
We don't just print it and let it sit on a shelf until tomorrow.
If you hit that 10am deadline, your order is treated with the highest priority.
Our team in Brisbane (and our partners like Prestige National Logistics) work in sync to get that package moving.
Whether it's heading to a Brisbane CBD office or being dispatched via express post to another city, it leaves our facility today.
Speed. Power. Delivery.
6. Stock Availability Matters
We keep a massive range of AS Colour staples on hand because they are the gold standard for DTG.
However, we can’t keep every single color and size in every single style 100% of the time.
If you need 50 Sage Green Heavy Tees in 3XL, we might need a day to pull those from the main warehouse.
For the fastest results, stick to the classics:
Black and White Staple Tees
Paper Tees
Heavy Tees
If we have it on the shelf, we can print it immediately.
If you have a very specific color in mind, just give us a quick buzz to confirm we’ve got the blanks ready to go.

7. Business Days Only (Sorry, Weekenders!)
Our machines need a rest, and so do our humans.
The 10am cut-off applies to Monday through Friday.
If you place an order on a Saturday at 9:00am, it will be the first thing we look at on Monday morning.
We aren't magicians, and the couriers don't pick up on Sundays.
If you have a big event on Saturday, don't wait until Friday morning at 9:59am.
Give yourself a buffer whenever possible.
But if it is Friday morning and you’re panicking? We’ve got you.
8. The Small-Batch Sweet Spot
Same-day printing is perfect for small to medium orders.
If you need 1 to 20 shirts, we can usually smash those out before lunch.
If you need 500 shirts, that’s a different story.
Large-scale production takes time, even with the best DTG tech in the world.
For the "same-day rescue," keep your quantities realistic.
If you do have a large bulk order that needs to happen yesterday, call us.
We always try to find a way to make it work, but the 10am same-day dispatch is primarily designed for those quick-turnaround, high-priority batches.

(Suggested Prompt: An industrial-style print room with multiple high-end DTG printers working simultaneously on black and white t-shirts, high energy, professional atmosphere.)
9. Brisbane Logistics Power
Being local has its perks.
Because we are focused on Brisbane, we know the lay of the land.
We work closely with logistics partners to ensure that "dispatch" actually means "on the way."
We use Prestige National Logistics (Prestige 3PL) to help manage the flow.
They understand the urgency of a same-day order.
When that package leaves us, it’s in the best hands possible to get to your door.
Reliable. Fast. Secure.

10. The "Night Before" Strategy
The best way to guarantee you hit the 10am cut-off?
Don't wait until 9:45am on the day.
Upload your designs and place your order the night before.
This gives our system time to process everything so that when our team walks in at the start of the shift, your order is already at the top of the list.
While everyone else is scrambling to find their credit card at 9:59am, your shirts are already being loaded onto the platens.
Be the person who plans ahead.
