What is the difference between DTG and DTF?
We get asked this a lot. It’s important to understand so you get the speed you need.
DTG (Direct to Garment): Think of this like a giant inkjet printer for shirts. It’s incredibly detailed and perfect for photos or complex designs.
Same Day Despatch: Available (if ordered by 10 am).
Best for: Cotton t-shirts and small runs.
DTF (Direct to Film): This involves printing onto a special film and then heat-pressing it onto the garment. It’s incredibly durable and works on almost any fabric, including polyester and blends.
Same Day Despatch: Not available. (This process takes a little longer to prep).
